Harbaldeep Singh, an Emmy Award-winning filmmaker, founded Nishkam TV to empower Sikh youth as storytellers and changemakers. Through filmmaking and TV production training, Nishkam TV bridges the gap between Sikh education in Khalsa Schools and the global sharing of Sikh stories, culture, and values.
Under Harbaldeep's leadership, Nishkam TV students have created award-winning films and documentaries, including "Declaration of a Revolution," selected for 21 international festivals, and "SEVA," which airs on PBS's WORLD channel. "Baywatana," which highlights the plight of Afghan Sikhs and Hindus, premiered at the Parliament of World Religions in 2023 and was officially selected at the Sikhlens Film Festival in LA.
Harbaldeep has trained more than 150 students and produced impactful content that amplifies Sikh voices globally. He holds degrees in Computer Science, Film and TV Production, and Entrepreneurship.
