For the past seven years, we’ve been learning about filmmaking from our Emmy Award-winning mentor, Harbaldeep Singh.
We’ve made some great films and documentaries, but our latest project is close to our hearts. We’re making a documentary called “Baywatana – A story of Afghan Religious Minorities.” It focuses on the struggles of Hindus, Sikhs, and Christians in Afghanistan. It breaks our hearts to see how these people are forced to leave their homes and seek refuge in foreign countries because of their religion.
We want to shed light on their stories and inform the world about their persecution. But to make this happen, we need your help. We’re raising around $267,000 (revised final budget) to fund this project. Your donation will help us cover the expenses of travel, equipment, and production. It will also help us bring these stories to life and ensure they’re heard.
Good News! Our documentary is already selected to screen at the Parliament of World Religions Conference Film Festival at Chicago from August 14-18, 2023.
